I have played soccer all my life, but havent played for a competitive league since I was a kid. Mostly I have just joined little pick-up leagues. I am 25 now and in very good shape. My skills are decent to good... but I can run all day long. I prefer playing left wing or forward (right foot dominant), but will play wherever I can find a spot. Looking forward to a bit of fun!

Hello,
I'm 5'10 155, good speed and quick hustler. I play mostly forward / attacking Mid on the wing. Primarily a distributor, I love to make a good cross for others to score, but still manage to put one in now and then.
I can also hold my own as a backup keeper when needed...
Played on a nationally ranked HS team back in the day and at University club level ( D1 team axed by title 9)
recently played for a club in Santa Monica a few years ago and only pickup games since but I need to get back to something more competitive.

Coach,
I played soccer for 5 years through Junior High School, but haven't played since (I'm 33 now). I wrestled from Jr. High through College, and I'm still in great shape as I train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and surf. I'm currently taking a couple months off of Jiu Jitsu to heal and looking for another way to stay competitive and in shape.
When I did play soccer I was a half back, as I have great stamina and was always good at getting the ball downfield to the Forwards.
I'm looking to have fun and get a workout. I know it's late in the season, but hopefully there is room on a team.

I moved here from Italy 8 years ago. I used to play 2 to 3 times a week when I was there in different leagues with my friends. I grew up playing competitive soccer - club, school teams, varsity captain in high school. Played a bit of IM in college (I went to Carolina so not much of a shot playing there!), then several years on a good team with South Bay Sports (we came in 1st a few times). I'm now 33 and have been off a few years having babies :) but want to get back into it again. I'm competitive, aggressive and consistent and usually like to play midfield, though am comfortable anywhere. Pretty technically sound but might be a bit rusty! I just want to get out there and sweat, have fun, meet some new people and get that competitive energy out.

I'm nearing 30 now and am looking to get back into soccer, have some fun, and meet new people. As far as skill level goes, I'm not really sure. To be honest, I've only ever played on AYSO teams, and that was way back in the day. I've got good foot control and can juggle a ball well, though, and I'm a pretty athletic person in general (used to do high/long/triple jump in high school and can still hold my own on a skateboard, if that means anything). SOCCER: Played for 18 years, both for high school and competitive traveling teams, and briefly for a D-1 team in college. Im 27 6'1 175pounds I play on a sunday team in the south bay peninsula soccer league and want to join another team also.. I usually play wing but they have me as a forward because my team is not too good.. I have a passing mentality I will always look for a pass instead of the shot but am a hard striker when needed, Ive also been making alot of headers if we have a good crosser but i believe we should always play the ball on the floor to feet.. I am a 26 year old male currently attending Santa Monica College. I have played on soccer teams all throughout my life. I currently play on a men's 7v7 soccer team that went 12-1-2 in the final season for 2009 (ends tomorrow). I can play any position, but favor defense with strong defense, vocal, speed, passing, and shooting skills. I definitely enjoy winning so I play hard every play on the field, but more importantly I love the game.
I usually play at least 2 pick-up games per week (12pm - 1pm) at Playa Vista field if a team manager is interested in meeting in person.

I am a 26 year old male currently attending Santa Monica College and I have played on soccer teams throughout my life. I currently play the position of defender on a team that went 12-1-2 in the Santa Monica Airport league mens 7v7 league, but this season ends tomorrow (8/14). I am not an expert but do have strong defender, passing, speed, vocal, and shooting skills paired with a well rounded knowledge of the game. Hi! I've played in 2 leagues before (including this one) for about 5 years. Though I stopped playing about 2 years ago, I've stayed in shape with flag football and am ready to play soccer again.
